Enclose, the debut project of Bear Make Noise, emerges with six tracks that are a mixture of dark-ambient, techno, drum & bass and experimental music. Enclose features vocalist Elena Camerin Young on four tracks. The EP was recorded in New York, NY and Boulder, CO and mixed by Perfect Tree Studios in Austin, TX by Joseph P. Durniak and Bear Make Noise. The EP Enclose was released on March 31st 2020 by Secret Lovers Records.

The first two tracks “Partigiano” and “Rossa Primavera” are a reinterpretation of (Fischia il Vento and Bella Ciao), Italian folk songs that were adopted as an anthem of the anti-fascist resistance (Partigiani) between 1943 and 1945. The tracks immerse listeners into a dark ambient pool of sounds.

The 3rd track “La Mia Nazione” features a poem by Italian film director and poet, Pier Paolo Pasolini, recited by Carlo Pisanu with vocals by Elena Camerin Young.

“Move Out!” brings you back to the 90s energetic vibe of electronica and drum & bass beats. The track features a sample from the 2017 May Day Protests in Portland, OR. The purpose of the protests were to support immigrants however conflict with local police resulted in riots and arrests. Police used gas and non-lethal weapons against demonstrators whom they described as anarchists.

“1945 The Time Has Come” showcases a speech given the 8th of September 1943 in which Italy's surrender was announced by President Roosevelt pledging to drive the Nazis out of all occupied nations. This song also features vocals by Elena Camerin Young.

The EP concludes with track “Black and White Dream”, a hypnotic techno indie-dance track, featuring vocals by Marco Dianese.

Marco Dianese aka Bear Make Noise is New York based Italian born producer, visual artist, DJ, promoter and musician.

Elena Camerin Young is an accomplished singer and composer, working and collaborating with several musical groups in addition to focusing on her own projects that involve performance venues, festivals and theaters in Italy and the U.S.A.
